This policy explains what BuildTaste collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect little.
What we collect
- Your email address — to create your account and let you sign back in.
- OAuth profile basics — if you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your verified email and basic profile (name, avatar) to identify your account. We never receive your password from those providers.
- Your designs — the taste systems, settings, and briefs you save, so your workspace is there on any device.
- Payment records — when you buy, Stripe processes the payment and we store which tier you purchased and when. We do not store your full card number.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't build a profile of you across other sites.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in (a session cookie). It is required for the app to work and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. We may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics (with no personal profiles) to understand overall usage.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and designs until you ask us to delete them. Email us and we'll remove your account and associated data.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, at any time. Email hello@buildtaste.com and we'll action it.
